We DJ for Wedding Receptions and Provide ceremony Music
First things first! Congratulations on your engagement! As I'm sure you are already
aware, planning the most important day of your life can be a very
stressful thing.
At Superior Light and Sound's Mobile DJ Service, we will take the
time to meet with you in advance, to help you plan out every detail
of your wedding reception. The planning meetings also allow us time
to get to know each other on a more personal level. I believe in
coordinating each and every detail of your wedding reception with
the catering staff, photographer and videographer so that everything
flows smoothly. If you have a coordinator for your reception, we
will work with the coordinator as a team to make sure everything
goes exactly as you have planned.
At Superior Light and Sound', I am proud of my
music library. I have
the best dance and party music from every style and era. My list of
music features the most popular up-tempo and slow song selections
from categories like: Ballroom, Latin, Big Band/Swing, Shag, Oldies,
Motown, Soul, Dance, Disco, Rock & Roll, Alternative, and Country. I
also carry a variety of group dances, like the Chicken Dance,
Electric Slide, Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, Etc.

Wedding Ceremony
Service:
Processional Music for the seating of the Mothers, for the
Bridesmaids and/or for the Bride. I have music appropriate for the
Unity Candle Ceremony (if needed) as well as Recessional Music.
Superior Light and Sound can provide complete wedding ceremony
service for your event. I will give you 100% Worry-Free Ceremony
Service, including: Professional Sound System, Customized Wedding
Ceremony Music, Remote Microphones - for singers or music.

Service
I have a great selection of songs appropriate for all the First
Dances including the
Bride and Grooms First Dance,
Father/Daughter -
Mother/Son Dance,
Parent's Dance,
Wedding Party Dance,
Cake Cutting,
Bouquet Toss,
Garter Removal and Toss as well as the
Last Dance of
the evening. We will be happy to show you these music lists at our
first appointment.
Cocktail Hour
- I'll play a soothing mix of cocktail music of your choice. Modern,
Jazzy, Classical, Whatever you wish!
Toasts and
Announcements -
Time to settle the guests and center their attention!
Dinner Hour
- Again, I'll play a customized and personalized mix of reception
music of your choice.

Transition Time
- This is the
time when you hear the guests get a little less quiet. I start to
play "Transition Music" . . . that stuff that will start to make
people tap their feet and dance in their chairs.
First Dances -
Bride and Groom Dance
- This is your special moment on the dance floor followed by Father
Daughter Dance, Mother Son Dance and sometimes a Bridal Party Dance.
Sometimes we will plan to do your Bride and Groom First Dance before
the dinner, just after bridal party introductions.
Open Dancing
- Enough Said! Okay, maybe not. Usually starting off with general
Music for all ages, slowly working towards the "younger" stuff at
the end of the night. Don't forget about the Slow sets too. Your
music will be customized to fit you and your guests!
Cake Cutting,
Bouquet Toss, Garter Tosses
- Traditional wedding activities we strategically fit into the
evening's time line. A good time for your guests to catch their
breath, a bouquet or a drink at the bar!
Don't Worry, I'll make sure the photographer is ready for the cake
cutting.
Don't Worry, I'll make sure the caterer has poured champagne before
the toast.
Don't Worry, I'll ensure your guests will know what's going on and
coming up next.

Pricing
Basic Wedding
Reception Package
- $500 (non-Saturday rate $450) for up to 3 hrs
This package is ideal for the majority of wedding receptions. It
assumes a one hour cocktail segment, one hour dinner segment,
followed by one hour of dancing and traditional reception segments
for cake cutting, first dance, bouquet and garter toss, etc.
Enhanced Wedding
Ceremony & Reception

(non-Saturday rate $500) for 4 hrs
This package is ideal for a wedding ceremony and reception.
(ceremony and reception are co-located within same room.)
Additionally, the Basic Reception services are included as shown
above.
Options & Upgrades
Overtime - $75
per hour
Overtime is always accepted & appreciated and can be either planned
in advance to fit your event requirements or simply added as your
guests have a great time! (*pending no previous engagements.)
Ceremony Music
(Not in the same room as reception)
- $100
This add on allows for an extra hour (for the ceremony) and we bring
1 extra remote sound system for the ceremony music.
Second Sound
System - $100 per
Event
A second pro audio PA style sound system + CD Player & Custom Music
for second area of sound – typical for cocktail hours, additional
rooms of music, special shows, etc.
Upgraded Sound
System for 100 to 250 Guest
- $50 per Event
All packages come with a professional stage sound systems. In order
to ensure a quality sound environment for you and your guests for
large parties, it is required to reinforce the sound system with 2
extra Electro-Voice 2 way with 600 watts JBL sub in each cabinet.
Great for events with 100 to 250 guest.
Upgraded Sound
System for 250 to 500 Guest
- $100 per Event
All packages come with a professional stage sound systems. In order
to ensure a quality sound environment for you and your guests for
large parties, it is required to reinforce the sound system with 4
extra High End Electro-Voice 2 way with 600 watts JBL sub in each
cabinet. Great for large events with 250 to 500 guest.
Karaoke - $50.00
Karaoke makes a great addition to any party! Allow your guests to
sing along with their favorite hits. Do it just for fun, or have a
singing contest! |
